Will County Executive Office

Responsible for complex professional and administrative functions critical to the success of the Human Resources Department.  Assist Department Directors and Managers in recruitment efforts.  Ensure that compliance with County policies, collective bargaining agreements, as well as state and federal requirements are maintained.  Preserve confidentiality of sensitive and personal information. This position reports directly to the Human Resources Senior Recruiter. Coordinate the recruitment process for the County with the Senior Recruiter; and collaborate with hiring managers on recruitment and hiring strategies. Post and advertise vacant positions per written requisition and County requirements; Maintain recruitment log and status; Comply with required timeframe for posting jobs pursuant to collective bargaining agreement and/ or County Executive standards.

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources Management, or related field or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience. Minimum of 2 years’ experience performing responsible duties in Human Resources with an emphasis on recruiting and job placement. Public sector experience within a union environment, preferred. SHRM-SCP, SHRM-CP, SPHR, or PHR Certification preferred. Must have a valid Illinois Driver’s License, and minimum liability insurance required by law.
