The Town of Concord is seeking a dynamic and experienced leader to join our team as the Director of Community Development. This exciting role oversees the Building & Inspections, Natural Resources, Planning, and Public Health divisions, guiding the Town’s efforts in sustainable growth, housing, transportation, and environmental initiatives. The Director of Community Development will play a key role in shaping policies, managing long-term planning projects, and fostering collaboration across departments to support community goals. The ideal candidate will be a forward-thinking leader with strong management and communication skills. Success in this role requires a proactive approach to strategic planning, effective public engagement, and the ability to lead complex projects to completion. Starting salary range: $120,681.60 – $144,227.20/yr, depending on qualifications. This is a full-time position, with a complete benefits package.
