MANAGEMENT ANALYST (FINANCE DEPARTMENT)

The City of Park Ridge, Illinois (population 39,656) is currently seeking a Management Analyst to join our dynamic team and contribute to our mission of excellence.

The Management Analyst will be exposed to all facets of the Finance department and work closely with all City departments on their purchases.  Reporting to the Finance Director this position is responsible for administering the City’s procurement and grant policies in accordance with applicable statutes, ordinances, and policies. Your responsibilities will include managing all aspects of the procurement process, maximizing the City’s allocation of external grant funding, and ensuring regulatory compliance through innovative processes and internal coordination.  In addition, this position will assist with the audit, budget, process improvement, and other finance department functions.

Candidates will have a Bachelor’s Degree in public administration, supply chain management, business administration, accounting, finance, or related field. A master’s degree in a related field is preferred.  Municipal and or professional level related experience is required.  Procurement experience is preferred.  Prior knowledge of Illinois municipal procurement practices preferred; and certification as a CPPB or CPPO through The Universal Public Procurement Certification Council or related certification preferred.
